Engine Oil System Cleaner

Engine Oil System Cleaner

What is the purpose of an engine oil system cleaning?

Engine oil cleaning is a crucial maintenance service that helps keep your engine running smoothly. After an oil change service is performed, an engine oil cleaning service will help to flush out any of the remaining old, contaminated oil from the vehicle. This process helps remove dirt, debris, and sludge buildup from the engine, ensuring optimal lubrication and performance.

What problems does this service solve?

Engine oils break down over time and extended use, which results in oxidation and build-up through the vehicle. This can contribute to excessive oil consumption and emissions, and can cause wear and tear on system components. Performing this service will remove lingering deposits and other built-up materials from any leftover engine oil, and will reduce wear, emissions, and ensure normal oil consumption.

How is this service performed?

After performing a Genuine Toyota Oil & Filter Change, your Toyota Certified Technician will perform an oil system cleaning by adding Genuine Toyota Engine Oil System Cleaner to the oil reservoir.

Is it time to schedule your Engine Oil System Cleaning?

Orangeville Toyota recommends performing an engine oil system cleaning service every 3 years or 64,000 kms (whichever comes first). This service is also recommended if the vehicle is subject to Heavy Duty Service, if the oil & filter change service is more than 4,000 kms past-due, if the engine oil level is below the minimum indicator, or if oil build-up is discovered during the oil & filter change service.
